Here's 1970s actor Ryan and his son Redmond O'Neal facing
the music from their September arrest for methamphetamine possession.
And by 'facing the music,' I mean 'postponing the concert.'
In court today, the father and son got permission to delay entering their pleas in the felony case until they have 'examined more evidence.'
Which is legal speak for 'Shit! What do we say?!'
It seems Ryan is in a bit of a pickle, as he considers himself innocent (and his son to blame).
The has-been's lawyer said last month in a statement:
The underlying message being: 'they belong to my son.'
But, since it's not exactly heroic to sell out your family, chances are Ryan won't just come out and say that. Hopefully for him the judge can read between the lines!

- 'It's unfortunate that these charges were filed because these drugs did not belong to Ryan O'Neal, and he should not be prosecuted for it. This is very upsetting to him.'
