Here's Colin Farrell booking it across London's Heathrow airport today after touching down in the smoky city for who-knows-what.  Shouldn't he be heading back to Irelend to spend the holidays with family? 

The reformed hothead has new reason to be cocky these days -  he was nominated for his first Golden Globe Award. 

Colin's In Burges performance put him in the runnings with Javier Bardem, James Franco, Brendan Gleeson, and Dustin Hoffman for 'Best Performance by an Actor in a Motion Picture.'

Last night Jessica Alba threw on her galoshes in rainy L.A. and headed out to Frida restaurant in Beverly Hills with husband Cash Warren to enjoy a holiday meal with friends. 

The couple may also have used dinner as an opportunity to better celebrate their marriage.  Following their hurried spontaneous courthouse union in May (just weeks before Honor Marie Warren was born), they never really got to celebrate the romantic side of exchanging vows.

So, on Friday, the spouse's families convened in the magically lit, tent-covered backyard of their Beverly Hills home, where Jessica, Warren, and their fathers said sappy things about love/family/etc.  Guests nearly cried when Warren gushed about how proud of his family is, but it was only a close call: no handkerchiefs were needed.  A guest tells Us Magazine:

'There were no tears.  Just lots of happiness and love.  It felt extremely special for everyone.'

And yes, 6-month-hold Honor was there too - wearing angel wings.  How approp.!

Rosario Dawson and her dad were spotted at H.D. Buttercup in L.A. yesterday, where they did a little holiday furniture shopping. 

The actress recently forecast that she wouldn't be spending much time with her dad during the holidays - because she'd be holed up reading Twilight. She told People:

'I just read the first book, it's ridiculous, it's like crack cocaine.  I read it for 10 hours straight until I finished it.  My dad is going to hate me, because I spend zero time with him, reading these books.'

I wonder how Mr. Dawson managed to lure his daughter out?!

Here's David and Victoria Beckham looking trendy and fabulous as they leave their new home - the Four Season Hotel in Milan - yesterday. 

The posh pair are temporarily living in Italy's Fashion City while Becks completes a three-month trade from the L.A. Galaxy  to AC Milan.  All this, in hopes of reclaiming a position on England's top squad in time for the World Cup Finals in 2010. 
 
And how convenient for Vicki that her husband is on loan in one of the world's top four fashion capitals!  While the man's off sculpting his impeccable abs and kicking his way to the gold, she can mind her greatest passion - buying designing clothes!

The only travesty here is: no David in America until March!  Pass the tissues, please...

Last night Paris Hilton sought solace from last week's tragedies in the company of her new BFF Brittany Flickinger and her reality show collaborator, Ryan Seacrest. 

The handsome trio hit up STK Steakhouse and Hyde lounge adorned in their respective fashion styles.  Paris sported a funky Christmas sweater (offering a more fashionable festive look than some of her peers), while Ryan looked East coast preppy and rockstar-wannabe Brittany kept it edgy in her torn jeans and leather jacket. 

While they posed for the cameras, Paris offered up a few words about how she's coping with the $2 million worth of jewelry that was lifted from her home.  She told Life&Style Magazine:

'I am devastated. I cannot believe someone broke into my home. They took items that had such sentimental value that no one will ever be able to replace. I'm just thankful that I wasn't there when it happened.'

A friend of the hotel heiress added:

'Paris has surveillance cameras set up in every room. The thief was wearing a black hoody and knew exactly where to go, like he's been there before. Paris has upped her security team to three 24-hour bodyguards, and she has someone on her property at all times. Detectives are doing a huge investigation.'

Hmmm...is there foul play among the Hilton party clan?  Stay tuned!

Here's Mary-Kate Olsen looking like a homeless person while waiting to be picked up by her driver outside Cafe Vida in Pacific Palisades this weekend.  The 'fashionista' was later spotted in some very interesting Santa sunglasses while out at Bardot Lounge. 

One might wonder whether the poor economy is to blame for Mary Kate's wardrobe choices, but in fact it's quite the opposite. 

According to Page Six, MK was overheard discussing the upsides of a recession while shopping at Barneys recently.  She said:

'It's really sad - the recession is everywhere. But at least they are having good sales.  That's where I got this hat! The recession!'

Lots of blogs are making a big deal out of this comment - painting MK in a negative light.  But I think: she's right!  In fact, if I was a multimillionaire, I'd be out shopping at Barney's too!
