Eva Mendes strutted her stuff at the Art of Elysium Second Annual Charity Gala on Saturday, where she received a 'Spirit of Elysium' Award for her good works this past year.
Art of Elysium is a non-profit organization which encourages actors, artists, and musicians to share their talents with children who are battling serious medical conditions. So apparently Eva actually did some of that stuff??
Other celebs who attended the event, which was held at The Viviana in downtown Los Angeles, included Kate Bosworth, Elijah Wood, Topher Grace, Amber Heard, Brittany Snow (with new dark hair!), Shannen Doherty (who was a bit of a mess), Ali Larter, Gerard Butler, Nicole Richie, Joel Madden, and Jared Leto.
It's refreshing to see so many young, rich peoplepretending to do doing good things for humanity. In fact, my personal hope is that seeing Eva's internal beauty will shine through and erase my unshakable impression of her as a vindictive man-stealer (courtesy of The Women with Meg Ryan). Might be tough though - she was SO convincing at it...
