Fergie Kicks Off the New Year With Resolve, Running Shoes

Just one week away from her wedding to world's hottest man, Josh Duhamel, Fergie Ferg has hit crunch time to drop weight and squeeze into her tiny white wedding gown.

The fitness freak had to gain thirteen pounds for her role in the upcoming movie Nine, and she tells Las Vegas Weekly the transformation was anything but fun.  

'I literally pigged out and stopped working out.  I went to In-N-Out Burger and just ate what I wanted. I really went for it. I loved it. I felt a complete glutton because I didn't say no to anything, and I knew I was getting bigger by the moment without even looking in a mirror. I moved differently because my body was getting bigger.'

'It's not easy trying to get healthy again and stay that way. It's hard because, whereas I gave up working out, now I'm back working out every day. We're going hiking, and I'm doing tons of sit-ups and walking and running twice as much as Josh does just to keep up with him.'

And indeed, yesterday Fergie dutifully hit the Santa Monica Mountains near her Brentwood home for a routine jog-hike with a pal...seguing into part two of the pop star's new year's resolution: babies! 

'Yes, we both want babies,' Fergie told Vegas Weekly, adding that the baby-making will begin once her  next Black Eyed Peas tour wraps. 

Then she can do the get-fat, slim-down dance all over again. Woohoo!
