Dancing with the Stars pros Karina Smirnoff and Maksim Chmerkovskiy surprised everyone by getting engaged on in Las Vegas New Year's Eve, of all occasions.
Four months after turning their longtime friendship into something more, the dancers held off on revealing their romance until they were 100% sure it was for real.
And, since an engagement is about as real as it gets, they're stoked to talk allll about it now.
'I'm in love and so is she, Maksim gushed to People Magazine. 'Everything is beautiful.'
'He is such a softie,' Karina added. 'The way he proposed was so romantic.'
I haven't decided whether to feel 'Awww' or 'Ugh' about these two but one thing's for sure: I sure as hell didn't see this coming. Did you?
