Mickey Rourke Angers Chris Jericho on Larry King Live

Yesterday Mickey Rourke visited Larry King Live to discuss his newly pocketed Golden Globe, Oscar nomination, and what it was like to play a professional wrestler.   And, as an added surprise, Mickey presented himself as someone capable of using tact.

During the interview, Larry King had real-life wrestler Chris Jericho call into the show with a critique of Mickey's acting.  Here's what Jericho said:

'I do respect what you did in The Wrestler, Mickey.  But you offended me...and that's the last thing you want to do is offend Chris Jericho.  Because you may have respect me and respect for my world, but I don't have respect for you.  I don't.  I really don't.'

To which Mickey responded:

'I'm gonna take the high road, brother, and just wish you all the best.'

Almost hard to believe this is the same guy who called Tom Cruise a c-nt on national television and tossed around the n word a few months ago, isn't it?!  Check out the saucy interview below:



Ah, wrestling theatrics.  Who needs the catty drama of reality TV and soap operas when you've got Chris Jericho?!
