As usual, Slumdog Millionaire stole the (awards) show on Saturday, when the film's director, Danny Boyle, took home the top honor at the 61st Annual Directors Guild Awards.
The newcomer beat out directors for Milk, The Dark Knight, Frost/Nixon and even The Curious Case of Benjamin Button .
