Poor Jessica Simpson hasn't had the best luck lately. She's gotten flak for putting on a few pounds, there've been (supposedly false) rumors about Tony Romo cheating, and last week the Texan gal was completely left out of the Country Music Award Nominations.
So, it wasn't a surprise when Jessica suffered a public meltdown last week, stumbling through a Michigan performance with Rascal Flatts and apologizing to the audience.
But spending time in one of her favorite cities, New York, is helping Jessica pull herself out of the dumps and back into lady form. On Wednesday she told folks on The Early Show that she was 'so happy' and 'right where she needed to be.'
And happy the collagen-lover did look yesterday, when she was spotted strutting into La Guardia airport wearing a Louis Vuitton bag and a slimming black ensemble. Then again, who doesn't feel confident in black?
