Last night Joaquin Phoenix made a visit to the Late Show with David Letterman, offering audiences the most comical talk show appearance I think I've ever seen.
In it, the actor-turned-rapper acts more eccentric than ever, 'walking the line' (a thin one) between insanity and overt rudeness. Watch above to see the Joaquin and Dave trade insults so awkwardly that it almost seems like a SNL Skit.
Speaking of which, I have a theory that Joaquain is staging this whole departure from acting and venture into music as one giant, ironic joke. At the end of which, that 'rap music' documentary Casey Affleck is filming can stand as proof of what a truly amazing Hollywood actor he is. Just watch. I'm sure of it.
