Hooray for Courteney Cox. The actress has landed a new gig since her racy tabloid show, Dirt, was canceled this summer.
In the new sitcom, Cougar Town, Courteney plays a 40-year-old mother who has a 17-year-old son and, presumably, a weakness for her son's friends. How very Linda Hogan of her!
It might be challenging for Courteney to take on the life of a single older lady, given that she's happily married to David Arquette, but if she needs any advice, she can always ask her BFF Jennifer Aniston. Sure, John Mayer's ex hasn't fully elevated herself to 'cougar' status yet, but she's due any day now.
