Putting on a brave face, Rihanna headed out to Geisha House last night for the second night in a row of clubbing - without Chris Brown.
Not surprisingly, the pop star - who is still recovering from her domestic war wounds - didn't dance or participate in the karaoke festivities, though she was 'really friendly, and smiling,' according to onlookers.
'She came through the back with her sunglasses on and went straight upstairs,' a source tells E! News. "She sat in a corner booth with her girlfriends and security and was having a good time. She looked really pretty.'
Tuesday night, Ri-Ri hit Coco de Ville for her first public outing since the Grammy's, where she belatedly celebrated her 21st birthday with friends, cupcakes, and champagne.
Hopefully this independent streak is a sign that the R&B star is re-evaluating her allegedly abusive relationship - and the decision not to press charges.
