Julia Roberts and Danny Moder take their children Hazel (blonde hair), Phinnaeus (ginger hair) and Henry (being carried) to visit "Uncle" George Clooney at his Italian lakeside retreat. Accompanied by minders and nannies, the happy family were flown in on a private jet, escorted by the pilot to their vehicle, then were driven to Clooney's Villa Oleandra on the shores of Lake Como to spend the weekend. Danny was seen taking his children and the nannies out for a boat trip over the lake, and was later seen showing off his six pack after taking daughter Hazel out on the water. Clooney and Roberts are long-term friends and starred together in "Ocean's 11" and "Ocean's 12".

It's been a busy few days at the 2009 US Open, held at the Billie Jean King Tennis Center at Flushing Meadows in Queens, New York. Here's a round up of what went down on and off the court:

Serena Williams' rapper boyfriend - real name Lonnie Rashid Lynn jr - was spotted supporting the Wimbledon champion out on the practice courts. The hip-hop star was seen picking up balls, chatting with her father and mentor Richard William and then gallantly carrying his lady's purse and kitbag off court. When Serena got down to her second round match against, Common was seen relaxing in the crowd with Entourage star Jeremy Piven and former tennis star Mary-Jo Fernandez. Serena progressed to round 3 with a swift 6-1 6-1 victory.

Andy Murray won his first match, supported by his girlfriend Kim Sears.

Kim Clijsters beat Marion Bartoli in the second round at the US Open 2009, as husband Brian Lynch watched from the stands.

Alec Baldwin was interviewed by Mary Jo Fernandez while Brooklyn Decker Roddick cheered on hubby Andy Roddick as he played against Marc Gicquel in the second round. Andy went on to win the match.

Mamma Mia co-stars Amanda Seyfried and boyfriend Dominic Cooper watched Maria Sharapova then Andy Roddick win their matches during the night session.

The Gossip Girls (and boys) gathered in NYC to shoot some scenes for the upcoming season. Ed Westwick was looking dapper, as per usual, Blake Lively was her leggy-lovely self... although Leighton Meester could give her a run for her money in that outfit, and Penn Badgley seems to get more gorgeous by the day.
