Looking a long way from his normal romantic lead,
George Clooney totes a rifle as filming gets underway on the movie The
American (also known as A Very Private Gentleman) in Italy. Directed
by Anton Corbijn, the movie stars Clooney as a hitman hiding in a small
Italian village whilst waiting to finish his final mission.
