However, one does not have to like good music to be intelligent. People can even like music that isn't good even though they know what good music is. For example, I like Blink-182, and though I don't listen to them really ever, I still enjoyed their music when I was younger and would enjoy it now if someone were to put it on, though I doubt id do it on my own. Now, Travis Barker is a fairly good drummer, but I don't think I could take someone seriously who tried to argue that Blink-182 was really complex and good music. But there is nothing wrong with liking music that isn't the most complex and original, and it certainly doesn't make you stupid.
