Sesame Street celebrates its 40th anniversary with a street naming in Dante Park on the Upper West Side. The cast and crew were joined by creator Joan Ganz Cooney (in green suit) and received a proclamation from the mayor of New York declaring November 10, 2009 Sesame Street Day.
