Simon Cowell dined at LA's swanky Cecconi's restaurant for his farewell dinner after his final appearance as a judge on American Idol. The group, including Paula Abdul, Paul McKenna and Ryan Seacrest, gathered at the eatery following the American Idol series 9 final which marks the end of Cowell's run on the hit show.
Simon won't be gone forever though - he is bringing The X Factor to the US after it's phenomenal success in the UK.

Nothing against the article, but I disagree with a couple of points to some extenct. I’m probably a minority though, lol. Thanks for sharing.
Fortunately, Wayne does not represent Hip-Hop. Probably Wu-Tang, Cypress Hill, East Coast Avengers, everyone in AOTP, every MC in Viper Records, and then we've got Fort Minor and Apathy/Celph Titled...those two together probably spit of the whole dictionary and then some. Most underground MCs are ridiculously clever with their lyrics, and probably teach you more vocabulary than your average high school English teacher. More power to them, I say. The SATs are also a skills aptitude test; they don't test any ideas based on formulating your own opinion. So someone who does terrible on, say, the math section of the SAT could be hella smart in real life. I mean, I don't think I'm dumb and I suck at math. =/
Let's think about this, is it possible to ever equate music into numbers? Also, it is important to note that the data was collected from users on Facebook, and then compared to the average SAT scores of the schools those users frequented. I don't know how many users were polled, but this is all very general data. Electronic music is entirely discounted, like Drum and Bass, Trance, Dubstep, Squarepusher...
