Despite looking happy as a clam in the pictures we posted of Hayden Panettiere arriving in Hawaii the other day - girlfriend was suffering from a serious case of the grumps.
While attending the Fundraiser opening of the Royal Hawaiian hotel on Sunday, she lost her cool in a big way. Us Weekly reports:
'After posing for photos, she brushed by reporters. A female television reporter touched her shoulder and asked, "May we talk with you, Hayden?" Miffed, the actress jerked her head around and screamed, "Don't you ever touch me!" She then icily asked a red carpet handler, "Oh, am I supposed to do interviews?" Approaching various media outlets, she snapped again: "You all make my life miserable" and refused to answer any questions.'
To give her the benefit of the doubt, there might be a reasonable explanation for this. Like, she could have been PMSing. Or having one of those tough post-break-up days. Maybe she gets constipated and cranky when she travels? Ok ok, the girl has probably just been getting a few too many foot massages for her own good.

Kathy Griffin, who once nicknamed herself 'the red-headed Oprah,' is appealing to the talk show queen on a personal basis this time.
While filming an episode of her reality show yesterday, Kathy showed up outside Oprah's New York studios with posters asking that her new book - presumably about life on the D-list? - be added to Oprah's Book Club.
She even threw in some free pizza as an added incentive, though I'm not sure it will do much good. Oprah's been on a diet since the eighties.

Clearly not immune from the Pinkberry epidemic, Laura Dern and hubby Ben Harper were coerced into treating their kids Ellery and Jaya to a little swirly goodness yesterday.
The tit-knit family of four spent a leisurely Sunday shopping and strolling along Brentwood's swanky Montana Avenue when they made the highly necessary pit stop.
And while they were treating their kids, Laura and Ben got in their own sugar fix - a great hangover cure for the night before, when they hit up Guys Nightclub for a private party.

The cute 'Do Something' Charity ambassador blogged on her myspace page about the experience, saying she got the rescue idea when she was shooting her Disney movie, Princess Protection Program.
'We noticed all of these stray dogs
and puppies. We ended up finding out that Puerto Rico has a "dead dog
beach" its sounds worse than it is but people actually kills dogs for
fun here.'
