Heidi Montag and Spencer Pratt made an appearance on 'The Late Show with David Letterman' last night to talk about 'The Hills.' And, despite playing nice for a Rolling Stone spread, Heidi told Dave a reconciliation with Lauren Conrad was probably not going to be part of the show. 

Heidi brought all of the drama of the MTV reality show to the Letterman show, saying that her former BFF Lauren Conrad, asked her to break up with Spencer. She recalled that LC told Heidi she was in love with Spencer and wanted him to meet her Dad, 'and then next day, on camera, she says if you are not broken up with him we can't be friends anymore…and then we stopped being friends…and then all of a sudden she had this sex tape coming out.'

As for the (still-alleged) sex tape, which features LC and former beau Jason Wahler, Heidi claimed that she tried to help keep it under wraps, telling Dave, 'I tried to help her get it back for a year. I told her you have got to get it back….you have to do something about it... the next thing that I know I was blamed for the sex tape. I didn't film it. I didn't do it. I am not trying to sell it. How did it come down on me?'

When David asked if Heidi could still be friends with LC, Heidi replied, 'I don't think so. After blaming a sex tape on me and making a whole season about it…I am not so sure.'

Who would have ever thought David Letterman's show would be so drama-packed?

Heidi Montag, in an outfit that looked quite familiar (still love the shoes though) and her boyfriend Spencer Pratt were all smiles as they left Washington DC's Willard Intercontinental Washington Hotel on the way to the 2008 White House Correspondents Dinner.

The dinner, which was held at the Washington Hilton hotel was hosted by Craig Ferguson, who's very funny and President Bush, who's not.

Guests included Heidi's nemesis Lauren Conrad, Ben Affleck, Pamela Anderson, Marcia Cross and the Jonas Brothers.

Last time we checked, it didn't look like the 'Hills' couple was going to be in attendance at the event, which mingles pop culture and politics. Rumors circulated about plane fares, schedule conflicts and such, but Heidi told reporters at the event, 'Don't believe everything you read.'

Heidi Montag and Spencer Pratt joined the cast of 'The Hills' to celebrate Spencer's sister Stephanie's birthday at a bash at Boulevard 3 on Sunset Boulevard in LA last night.

Reality TV's favorite couple made a grand entrance at the party, complete with balloons and flowers for the birthday girl. The two posed for photos and even signed some autographs before heading inside to join the festivities.

The party had major drama potential, since Heidi's nemesis Lauren Conrad was among the guests - so, of course the shindig was filmed for the MTV reality show. Sadly, Lauren left soon after Heidi and Spencer arrived.

Brody Jenner, who left early after apparently having an argument at the gathering - at least someone was able to being the drama for the MTV cameras - and Audrina Partridge, glowing in a sparkling gold dress, were also at the party.

With the whole event being filmed, it feels like we're all on the guest list. And if it's not a fun party, we don't have to make an awkward exit, we can just change the channel.

Reality TV's favorite couple, Heidi Montag and Spencer Pratt got dolled up and dined at Wolfgang Puck's Cut restaurant at the Beverly Wilshire hotel in LA last night.

It's about time these two took a break and chilled out for a bit. I mean, last week they were running all over New York City, promoting the third season of the Hills and this past week it was all about Heidi's clothing line Heidiwood, which pretty much sold out its first day on the shelves at LA boutique Kitson.

Then there's that spin-off. Heidi recently told Us magazine, 'We've had a lot of ups and downs, and if we make it through this season, I'd love to look down the road to a spin-off.'

If they do manage to escape 'The Hills', I think Heidi's Dad should be considered for a supporting role on the new show. According to Heidi, he's 'obsessed' with Spencer. She says, 'It's literally the only thing he calls to talk to me about!'

Heidi Montag and Spencer Pratt have piggybacked a little couple time on their trip to New York promoting the latest season of their MTV hit, 'The Hills.'

The on-again/off -again couple did the 'tourist thing', riding through Central Park on a white horse and carriage, boating in the lake, and getting chauffeured around the park in the back of a bicycle taxi - snapping photos all the while.

Apparently these two are 'on' again, as Spencer gave Heidi a little sugar during their romantic day.

In other Heidi news, she recently told TMZ that she was hoping for an August release date for her album and is stepping behind the lens to direct her next music video.

Heidi Montag and Spencer Pratt are still living it up in the Big Apple. The two got dolled up and dined at the Kobe Club restaurant last night.

All of you 'Hills' fans who were hoping to see Heidi and the gang on the big screen shouldn't hold your breath. Heidi has pretty much squashed the rumors of a 'Hills' movie, telling MTV.com that, 'I’ve never discussed a movie possibility for ‘The Hills’…and I’m not sure if for my first movie I’d let Lauren Conrad narrate me, so I don’t think that would be something I would do.'

Instead, Heidi - who apparently has big screen aspirations, said she'd rather co-star with Denzel Washington than Spencer. Sorry, Spencer. She added, 'I want to be, like, an action star. I want a big gun....I want to be the badass.'

A fashion-designing badass. Now this I've gotta see.

'Hills' star-turned fashionista Heidi Montag and her occasional beau Spencer Pratt hit NYC to promote Heidi's new clothing line, Heidiwood.

The couple made an appearance on MTV's 'TRL', where Heidi performed an impromptu rap in front of the audience and R&B singer Nelly.

After taping the show, the fashionable duo headed to Barney's New York on Madison Ave for a little shopping  - and possibly some fashion inspiration for Heidi.

Heidi, who insists she's not competing with her nemesis Lauren Conrad's fashion line, says her clothes are more 'sexy and fun' than LC's offerings - and then added that her line is 'going to be very price oriented. I want all my fans to be able to buy it. I want to bring that fashionable clothing line down to a price range where people can actually afford it.'

After the obvious dig at LC's prices, she made sure to wish her luck. I'm sure she means that.

Only hours after returning from a Mexican jaunt with on-again/off-again beau Spencer Pratt, Heidi Montag debuted her new fashion collection, Heidiwood at Hollywood and Highland Center.

The brief showcase presented eight new outfits from the collection - which is available at Anchor Blue stores - all to tunes from Heidi's upcoming, still-untitled album.

At the end of the show, Heidi strutted her stuff on the runway in a midriff-baring, zebra print halter top, black short shorts and monstrous platform shoes.

Spencer then publicly congratulated his lady love by jumping on stage, presenting her with 2 dozen long-stemmed pink roses and planting a big smooch on her lips.

After the show, Heidi said of their relationship, 'the bottom line is that we love each other. We always have and we’re just trying to figure out our stuff, like every other couple.'

At least Spencer's trying. You couldn't get my husband to a fashion show even if it was during the halftime of the Super Bowl.

They'd better make like a couple of bunnies if they want their pregnancy as a 'Hills' story arc. The new season debuts tonight on MTV.
