Arm in arm, Zachary Quinto and Hayden Panettiere leave Teddy's bar after the 2009 MTV Movie Awards afterparty last night.

Also at the club were Twilight star Peter Facinelli, Rumor Willis, Ben Stiller, Kelly Osbourne and Lauren Bosworth, who signed some autographs before heading inside with The Hills pal Stephanie Pratt.

No granny panties for Hayden Panettiere!

The little Hero accidentally revealed her underwear preference on Tuesday while getting swept up into the toned arms of Adrian Pasdar, who plays her father on the show.

And apparently it was the father/daughter bonding episode, because after rough housing, Adrian's character gifted his on-screen daughter with a pretty necklace. 

Shouldn't her real-life daddy be the one spoiling her with presents at this point?

Hayden Panettiere debuted a new look yesterday, when she was spotted on the set of Heroes with freshly chopped bangs and super-straight hair pulled half-up. 

Perhaps a new look to celebrate her family's new start? 

Last week, the actress' father, Alan Panettiere, was convicted of misdemeanor battery after pleading no contest to charges from the August fight that left mama Lesley Panettiere with a pretty bruise on her cheek. 

He gets 24 months probation, $400 in fines and 52 weeks of domestic violence counseling.  Hopefully they'll talk to him about flipping off his kids too?

Hayden Panettiere sported a new tattoo while shopping with her mom Leslie and brother Jansen at Rumor Boutique in L.A. today. 

The tattoo says 'Viviere', which means 'to live' in Italian.  Which I guess explains Hayden's obsession with saving the whales. 

As for the Italian bit - well, Hayden's just that in touch with her ancestors. 

Not that she speaks the language, or has ever lived in Italy.  In fact, she probably hasn't actually met most of her relatives.  But hey, at least she was original enough not to get a tramp stamp or a hokey Chinese symbol. 

Too bad I can't say the same for Brooke Hogan and Audrina Patridge...

Hayden Panettiere has had quite a busy week. On Wednesday, she was all smiles at the GQ Man of the Year Awards and yesterday, "Heroes'" indestructible cheerleader was spotted at LAX, heading out of town with mom Lesley. Hayden is going to be a speaker at the Weather Channel-sponsored Forecast Earth Summit. The environmentally conscious actress will be on hand to discuss her involvement with the Save the Dolphins campaign as well as the Declare Yourself initiative, encouraging young people to register and vote.

At a mere 18 years old, Hayden is becoming quite the hero herself. It's refreshing to see a young actress doing something besides quaff cappuccinos and shop till she drops!
